Join the College of Veterinary Medicine to establish the Auburn Veterinary Alumni Association. This organization will be an affiliate organization of the Auburn Alumni Association, but dual membership is not required. There is no fee for membership to the Auburn Veterinary Alumni Association.

Wilford S. Bailey Distinguished Alumni Award
The College of Veterinary Medicine has graduated untold numbers of individuals who have achieved at the highest levels of the profession, and whose contributions have made a difference, collectively, in every area of animal health and one medicine. These individuals should be recognized for their achievements and success.

The Wilford S. Bailey Distinguished Alumni Award is the College of Veterinary Medicine’s highest alumni award, recognizing career excellence in any of three general areas:
§ Academia
§ Private Practice
§ Other, Research and Public Policy (including service in government, industry, and the military).
Nominees may be DVM, MS or Ph.D. graduates of the college. Nominees should be those whose actions have made a difference in his or her community or beyond in advancing animal and human health. Recipients are recognized at during Commencement ceremony each May.

Young Achiever Awards
The Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine Young Achiever awards are given to recognize members of the class celebrating their 10th anniversary. The class of 2008 holds its 10-year alumni reunion in October during the college’s 111th Annual Conference.
Nominees should be recognized for their accomplishments in veterinary medicine, their outstanding community service, and for their advancement of animal health.
The Awards Committee of the Alumni Advisory Council reviews the nominations and selects the recipients who will be honored during opening session of Annual Conference.
