Business Relations

Auburn University’s Canine Detection Center (CDRI) and Veterinary Sports Medicine Program (VSMP) are robust research, education and training organizations under the College of Veterinary Medicine. We have extensive experience in partnering with local, state, federal, private, industrial and foreign clients to improve their canine working dog activities and programs.

The College of Veterinary Medicine has an experienced contract and grants department that can assist in all aspects of project procurement including project budget analysis, draft proposals, funding line development, contract oversight and more.  We have extensive experience in collaborations and subcontracts with other institutions or business entities for project efforts.

In addition, we have an Office of Technology Transfer that can assist with all aspects of intellectual property development including copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents. We also have support from the Auburn Research Park that provides entrepreneurial business opportunities for interested parties to develop and innovate new ideas, foster existing ideas, and provide partnership opportunities. We have the ability and experience to develop and execute any project to advance and support canine working efforts.
