Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA)
Group Description:
The Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA) is a student-driven organization dedicated to advancing the profession through increasing business knowledge, creating networking opportunities, and empowering students to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Principle activities, events, or programs:
Auburn VBMA hosts 10-15 meetings and events each semester that will strengthen students’ knowledge in business finance, business operations, management and ownership, business leadership skills, and career and personal development. Students have the opportunity to earn a regular or honors business certificate depending on the number of hours of business education completed.
How this group’s activities benefit the profession, university, and community:
This organization helps better prepare students to enter the workforce, teaching them skills that will help them to achieve financial success after graduating veterinary school.
