We are looking for an outgoing and adventurous candidate to make a commitment to lead an academic study abroad trip in Costa Rica. Our vet medicine program guides U.S. undergraduate students through an accredited introductory academic course which provides them the opportunity study and interact with sea turtles, monkeys, and other exotic animals.
Students will be led through lab training, animal handling, shadow some small surgeries, and enjoy lectures in the best environment imaginable! This is an amazing opportunity to shape young minds we are looking for someone who is dynamic and engaging. In addition to teaching the instructor should be comfortable living with the group, facilitating personal growth and leadership development, and participating in adventure activities. Flights provided for training and program, this is a payed position commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:
DVM of Veterinary Medicine or Masters in Animal Science or related field of study
Ability to teach basic anatomy/physiology to college students
Experience working with teens or college students preferred.
International travel experience preferred
Training Dates: May 24th-June 1st (flexible)
Program Dates: June 13th-July 7th
