Associate Veterinarian Position


            Countryside Animal Hospital is a progressive, growing practice in Mount Juliet TN which is just east of Nashville.  Countryside Animal Hospital is exclusively a small animal practice.   We are currently looking for a fifth doctor to meet the needs of our growing clinic.

            Countryside Animal Hospital has a wide array of diagnostic and treatment equipment.  We have complete in-house blood diagnostics including IDEXX Catalyst and Procyte, complete chemistry machines as well as in-house coagulation profiles.  A surgical laser is used on a daily basis for routine and special procedures.  We also have digital radiology for the best diagnostics possible.  An experienced support staff is always available to assist with all diagnostic and treatment plans. 

            The successful candidate for this position will be a caring and compassionate veterinarian who is interested in communicating with their clients and educating them about the health and wellness of their pets.  We strive to offer the best medical care for our clients and patients at a reasonable cost.  An associate interested in becoming a partner in the practice would be preferred.  Buy-in would be available after 2 years of associate work to the right person.  Starting salary will be based on experienced with 2 weeks’ vacation, paid dues, CE allowance, and health insurance stipend.  Associates are required to work 40 to 45 hours a week including one weekend a month.  Countryside Animal Hospital does see after hours emergencies.  New associates are required to start in the call rotation after 6 months.
