Job Description

COME JOIN OUR TEAM!

Animal Medical Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for our AAHA-accredited hospital in beautiful northeast Alabama. With six doctors, three of whom are partners, we are growing and need a new team member for our premier small animal facility.

Animal Medical Center is really three hospitals in one: Full-Service, Emergency, and Referral-Service Hospitals. We offer a wide range of services unparalleled in our area, and we are one of the state's five largest veterinary medicine practices.

Our progressive approach to pet wellness includes such services as small animal, avian and exotic medicine, critical care, emergency and surgery referrals, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, oncology: chemotherapy and surgery, laser surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, and endoscopy.

We offer the following amenities to Associate Veterinarians (first year):

Animal Medical Center supports our community with continued service for the Anniston Museum of Natural History's wildlife education program, local schools' education programs and career days, American Red Cross blood drives, and area animal-related organizations and events. Also, our employees are involved in local civic organizations, Anniston Runners Club, Northeast Alabama Bicycle Association, and other groups. We encourage all employees to be involved in our community.

Our global efforts support veterinary clinics in Rarotonga, Mexico, Bora-Bora, and other foreign veterinary missions.

Animal Medical Center is a teaching hospital for veterinary students from Auburn University, University of Georgia, Louisiana State University, and the University of Florida, as well as for Jefferson State's Licensed Veterinary Technician program.
