Job Description

HELP (Help End Local Pet overpopulation) Spay Neuter Clinic in Newnan, GA is looking for a full time veterinarian  to perform surgery and supervise our kennel. We are a not for profit organization and we perform 25-40 surgeries per day to reduce pet overpopulation in West Georgia. We serve Coweta, Henry, Clayton, Pike, Fayette, Spalding and Meriwether counties. We are located between Atlanta and the Alabama-Georgia line on I-85.  

We work Monday to Thursday, plus every third Saturday for vaccine clinics. Occasional Friday hours may be scheduled.

You would be responsible for daily care and sterilization of all surgical patients and maintenance of preventative health programs and medical protocol, ensuring all clinic staff members are adhering to proper peri-operative care of patients. Quality patient care is first and foremost.

You would also monitor boarding patients for health, vaccines and health certificates for transport.

You would lead the medical team, currently consisting of two full time surgical assistants and one full time recovery assistant. 

High-volume spay/neuter experience or training is preferred but we will train the right candidate, so all are encouraged to apply.

Georgia license required. Must be eligible for DEA licensure and USDA accreditation.
