Andrew G. Callaway, D.V.M. of the Hurtsboro Veterinary Clinic is retiring by Sep. 1, 2014 and wishes to sell his practice. The Hurtsboro Veterinary Clinic is located approx. 35 mi. so. of Opelika on Hwy. 51 So., downtown Hurtsboro, about 45 min. from AU.  Dr. Callaway built the Callaway Animal Hospital (now Gardner Veterinary Clinic), in 1973 in Eufaula, Ala., after graduating from the AU Veterinary School in 1971, and practiced there until the need to take over his family farm near Hurtsboro. He opened the Hurtsboro Veterinary clinic and has been the sole practitioner there for over 18 years. His general practice cares for the horses and sporting dogs for over (15) Quail hunting preserves in the area as well as an active 'by appointment' office with two employees. Dr. Callaway can work as needed to assist during a transition and to make introductions to his clients, which he highly values. The practice may be purchased with a lease or purchase option of the real estate. Owner financing available.
