Our Mission
The mission of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine Equine Health Research Program (EHRP) is to improve equine health through high quality research. To fulfill this purpose, the program supports the interaction of scientists, veterinarians, and students to cultivate and integrate translational and clinical research. Through this collaborative effort, new discoveries in relation to equine disease and treatments can be delivered to the equine patient.
The equine research program strengths are the investigation of anesthetics, antibiotics and pain medications, endocrinology, metabolic disease, orthopedics, and podiatry. Goals achieved within these studies are accomplished through the collaboration with other groups on the
