NanoString Field Applications Scientist to Speak
April 24 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm UTC-6
Dr. Erica Pawlak, a NanoString Field Applications Scientist, will speak on “Multiplexed, Digital Quantification of RNA, DNA, and/or Proteins: Introduction to NanoString Technologies” on Tuesday, April 24, at noon in 230 Greene Hall.
Lunch will be provided, but registration is required: https://www.nanostring.com/company/events-archive/nanostring-auburn
NanoString technology provides direct, digital expression data of up to 800 targets simultaneously, profiling expression levels of mRNA, miRNA, lncRNA, fusion genes, CNV and/or proteins.
Gene expression with no amplification, no library prep, no RT reactions required, simple data analysis solutions using our free nSolver software, and is currently featured in >1,900 publications. Described as simpler than NGS and faster and more reproducible than qPCR and is often used to validate or scale up these types of projects.
