CardiologyDr. SeungWoo Jung is an assistant professor of cardiology. His clinical and research interests lie in investigating the mechanism of heart failure and developing its therapeutic intervention. Dr. Jung received his DVM and MS degrees from Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine in South Korea. Following graduation, he pursued clinical training in cardiology as a cardiology fellow at Cornell University. This training on the importance and value of translational cardiology motivated him to pursue a Ph.D. in physiological genomics at Cornell, studying genetic and molecular mechanism in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Jung completed his cardiology residency at the University of California, Davis, and became a board-certified veterinary cardiologist by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. |
