Minimum admission standards for the M.S. and PhD degree programs regarding grade point average, graduate record examination (GRE) scores and TOEFL scores are consistent with Auburn University Graduate School requirements.
A satisfactory Graduate Records Examination score is required for all graduate programs. GRE scores will be evaluated in conjunction with your academic record.
In addition, candidates may be required to meet other basic qualifications relative to educational background (e.g. DVM degree or equivalent from an institution accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association), discipline emphasis, and research interest.
Applicants to M.S. degree programs in the College are reviewed and approved at the departmental level. The College has a single PhD degree program which is administered interdepartmentally. Applicants for the PhD program are also screened at the departmental level but official review and approval occurs through the college's PhD Advisory Committee.
For additional information please contact Dr. Anne Wooldridge, Graduate Programs Officer.
There are at least nine graduate courses taught by faculty of the Large Animal Teaching Hospital in addition to Seminar courses, special problems courses and research and thesis credit courses.
