Clinical Lecturer in Food Animal Medicine

Description:  The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Auburn University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Clinical Lecturer position in the Food Animal Section.  The position offers a unique opportunity for veterinarians looking for a career change or additional post-graduate training to augment their ability to serve food animal industries.  Enrollment in the Graduate School with appropriate research will lead to the MS or PhD degree.  The individual selected will participate in clinical teaching and service within the Food Animal Section.  The position is renewable annually for up to 5 years contingent upon satisfactory progress in the graduate program.  A DVM or comparable degree along with significant experience in food or mixed animal general practice is required.  Prior to employment, the incumbent must be accepted in the Auburn University Graduate School. The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills required.
