Faculty Position in Phage Display and Cancer Therapeutics

The Department of Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Auburn University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position in phage display and cancer therapeutics at the rank of Assistant Research Professor.  

The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in research of cancer therapeutics using methods of phage display, nanobiotechnology, and cancer cell models, confirmed by an established peer-reviewed publication record in internationally recognized journals. 

Applicants must possess the PhD degree from an accredited institution in molecular biology or a related field.  The individual will be expected to conduct independent and cooperative laboratory research by participating in strategic planning of research direction, project planning, experimental design and data analysis, preparation of grant applications and manuscripts, training and supervision of graduate students and postdoctoral research associates, coordination and communication of research activities with internal and external collaborators, and presentation of research results at domestic and international scientific forums.
