Visiting Professor Program:
The goal of this program is to bring outstanding diabetes investigators to Auburn University for one or more days to interact with faculty, trainees, and students and to make a formal presentation in a departmental or academic unit lecture series. At least three awards will be made each year to support these visits. Auburn University faculty are invited to nominate individuals for participation in this program and to develop programs in which the Visiting Professor could participate. Travel Grants for Trainees in Diabetes Research:
Trainees who are presenting diabetes-related research at a national meeting are invited to apply for a $1000 travel grant through the Jim Fyffe Diabetes Research Fund. Contact Robert Judd at juddrob@auburn.edu for additional information about the application process.
