Additional requirements and considerations:

In addition to completing the required pre-veterinary courses, students are strongly encouraged to work with one or more veterinarians to learn about the career opportunities and responsibilities within the profession. While work and animal experience are necessary for admission, it is important to remember that academic ability is essential. The Committee on Admissions is selecting students who they believe can be successful in a rigorous four year professional curriculum.
