The Scott-Ritchey Research Center Interdepartmental Research Grants Program has awarded six grants in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Only proposals directly relevant to research on health problems of dogs and cats were considered. The Interdepartmental Research Grants Program funds may be used to stimulate research in new areas, pursue novel ideas, and assist new investigators in establishing research projects. The research proposed should have high potential for future funding by extramural agencies. This mechanism is not intended to provide long-term support for established projects or to supplement existing research. Scott-Ritchey Faculty may not serve as principal investigators on SRRC Interdepartmental Research Grants Program grants but may be included as co-investigators on such grants when appropriate.
Funding for Interdepartmental Grants comes from donations by veterinarians and the public to the Scott Donations Fund, administered by Scott-Ritchey.
