White Coat Ceremony

The College of Veterinary Medicine held the White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2016, which acknowledges each students’ transition from classroom study to clinical work. "The white coat is a symbol of medical professionalism,” said Dr. Dan Givens, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Veterinary Medicine. “This ceremony signifies the beginning of their clinical apprenticeship to sustain and restore the health of animals and people.”
