Our Board
AVESS store and the AVESS Board of Directors are here for YOU. The AVESS Board serves the purpose of overseeing requests and purchasing those items needed at AUCVM. The only way the money is utilized is through requests made directly by students and faculty. We would like to provide anything you may need during your time at AUCVM - whether it is for convenience, education, or comfort. Past items we have provided include small animal scales, bovine hoof trimming chute, palm lab gas analyzers, digital and video cameras, new chairs and tables, reference books, surgery equipment, microscopes and microscope projectors, radiograph view-boxes, etc.
Donation request forms are located on the first floor of Greene Hall in the hallway where classes meet. Each form needs to be filled out completely and placed in the AVESS drop box the Friday before the board meets (every first Monday of the month).
While the Board welcomes all requests and will address each request submitted, please consider if it may be a need that should be met by the University. Such items should be requested to the Board only if they have been denied by administration. If you are not sure, please feel free to ask any of the board members or go ahead and submit your request.
