The Auburn Endocrine Service has made an agreement with DHL (formally Airborne Express) to allow special delivery and pricing for samples submitted to the lab. Use of this service will allow:
- Next day delivery of samples to the lab
- Pick up at your clinic by DHL
- Cost of $9.00* per shipment (unless you are in a 'rural' area, see below)

They can provide you with preprinted airbills.
- DHL will set a pickup time
- Samples must weight less than 3 pounds to get the lowest price
- You will not be charged by DHL, the Endocrine Service will bill you $9.00* for each shipment you send. If the samples weigh more then 3 pounds, the charge may be higher.
*Note: DHL may charge an extra $10.00 if they decide your clinic is in a 'rural' location. Also, an extra charge may be applied if the airbill is not correctly filled out. Contact DHL for details.
To order airbills mention preprint format #122086210. In addition, you may have DHL fill in your address and all pertinent information for your clinic, which will then provide you with your own preprint format number for future orders.
