Place and Time TBA

This series of Bible Study guides with DVDs provides the depth for a more thorough study of the Bible, allowing participants to make deeper connections with a knowledge of historical background of the Bible, biblical text, and real life applications.

Description:

Prayer was the backbone of Jesus’ life and ministry. From his baptism to his crucifixion, the Gospels portray Jesus as a man of prayer who knew and deeply valued intimate communion with his heavenly Father. What can we learn from the prayers he prayed? This unique, in-depth look at the prayers of Jesus will give you new insights into prayer, the character of God, and how to deepen your relationship with him.

Lady in Waiting

 Single Women's Bible Study
Contact Heather Avery - averykh@auburn.edu if interested.

The Lady in Waiting Bible study focuses on the state of a woman's heart.  It is not about finding the right man, but becoming the right woman.  This study focuses on the ten qualities of a godly woman found in the book of Ruth that will guide us as single women, as we date, and eventually into married life.  This book shows and empowers singles to use their single status for Christ.  It is a huge encouragement to all who participate in this study.  It consists of short chapters that are less than ten pages, brief discussions, a prayer journal, and a study guide.  The book does not have to be purchased to attend the sessions.

Those who are interested in participating can contact Heather Avery.  The studies will be held Saturday nights at Heather's house so if interested or need directions, email her.  Refreshments will be provided for all who attend.
