Donna W. Angarano, DVM, DIPLOMATE ACVD
Dr. Donna Angarano obtained her BS and DVM from the University of Missouri at Columbia. She completed an internship and dermatology residency and served on the faculty of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University prior to joining the faculty at Auburn University. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology where she has held several leadership positions including President. Dr. Angarano has given over 125 scientific presentations in the United States, Canada, Europe and South America. She is the author or coauthor of over 50 scientific publications. She is a past recipient of the Outstanding Woman Veterinarian of the Year. In 1994-1995, she completed an American Council on Education fellowship at the University of Alabama – Birmingham.
While she continues to teach veterinary dermatology, Dr. Angarano currently serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. In this role, she oversees all facets of the professional degree program, interacting with veterinary students from admission to graduation.
