The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Auburn University invites applications for a supervisory position in critical care nursing.  The Instructor in Veterinary Critical Care Nursing will hold faculty rank as an instructor in the Auburn University Critical Care Program. The individual selected will participate in all aspects of the Small Animal Teaching Hospital Critical Care Service including, but not limited to, clinical and didactic teaching of veterinary students and supervision of full time technicians in the Small Animal Clinic Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Qualifications: Clinical or Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor of Ophthalmology:  The Department of Clinical Sciences at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applications from qualified individuals for a clinical-track or tenure- track ophthalmology position. Depending upon experience, qualifications and interest, successful candidates may be appointed to either tenure-track (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) or non-tenure track (Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) position.  The ophthalmology section at Auburn University is committed to excellence in clinical service, teaching of professional veterinary students, and resident training.  It is complemented by specialists in small animal medicine and surgery, equine medicine and surgery, equine theriogenology, food animal theriogenology, food animal medicine and surgery, dairy medicine, anesthesia, radiology, pathology, oncology, dermatology, emergency critical care, sports medicine, and neurology. Applicants for this faculty position must hold a DVM or equivalent degree. Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Science - June 1, 2007

The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama is seeking candidates for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Science.  Postdoctoral positions become available periodically under a variety of research grants and projects in the College.  We are seeking applications from individuals with either: (1) a PhD in any area of the biomedical sciences or (2) a DVM or its equivalent.  Interests in biomedical research at Auburn target a fundamental niche in animal and human health, the life sciences, and production agriculture.  A host of opportunities are envisioned during the upcoming year, taking advantage of unique Auburn resources provided by the CVM Teaching Hospital, Scott-Ritchey Research Center, Southeastern Raptor Center and Clinical Pharmacology Reference Laboratory.
