Admission & Discharge Procedures

The client must clear the account with the business office before the clinician releases the case. In case of death of the patient, the client will be notified by the clinician as soon as possible by phone and the discharge process completed. A copy of the discharge form will be sent to the client along with other documentation requested.

Patients are to be discharged during normal business hours. Exceptions must be arranged with the business office in advance. No animals will be discharged after hours without prior authorization by the attending clinician and business office. Verification of the agent must be provided by the owner and the agent's driver's license.
