The Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine will host its 31st annual Open House on Saturday, April 19, 2008, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at its campus on Wire Road. There will be college tours and scientific displays, plus a dog agility course, sheep-herding dogs, animal art exhibit, petting zoo, Teddy Bear surgery, parade of breeds of dogs and horses, and many other attractions.

Scientific exhibits will include anatomy, ultrasound, small animal surgeries, large animal exhibits, endoscopy, and other veterinary disciplines.

More than 5,000 people are expected to attend the yearly event which is coordinated by veterinary students. For information, call the College of Veterinary Medicine at (334) 844-3699 or 1-800-483-8633.
