Research & Graduate Studies
Each of the College's Departments (i.e., Anatomy, Physiology & Pharmacology; Pathobiology, and Clinical Sciences) and the Scott-Ritchey Research Center support research to better understand the mechanisms, treatment of animal and/or human diseases. Faculty, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students investigate both infectious and non-infectious animal and human disease in clinical and experimental settings.
Research areas include genetic aberrations, cancer, bacterial, and viral infections, cardiovascular diseases, food safety, endocrinology, and reproduction. A full listing of research areas and more detailed information regarding the ongoing research programs can be found in this web site and under the web sites of the three academic departments as well as the Scott-Ritchey Research Center.
