Conference Speakers

Thank you for agreeing to speak at a Continuing Education event for Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. On these pages you will find specific information, including travel policies and procedures, payment information, speaker instructions, etc.

Each speaker needs to complete part (if not all) of the following information.

Step 1: All Speakers

All speakers (whether internal or external) must complete the CVM Speaker Information Form as soon as they agree to participate in any C.E. event.

Step 2: Vendor Registration (External Speakers Only)

It is imperative that you complete the vendor registration process prior to speaking at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. No payment can be made to you or your company prior to completing this step. In order to expedite payment, it is strongly encouraged that you complete the vendor registration process prior to the date you are expected to speak.

There are multiple steps in this process. First you will register and assign your self/company a user name and password. Then you will be prompted to complete other applicable online forms.

After completing the on-line portion of the registration process, you will be included in our vendor file and eligible to receive payment. If you have questions concerning your registration, you may contact  the AU Vendor Center at (334) 844-3639 or by email at vendor@auburnuniversity.net.

Step 3: Travel and Reimbursement (External Speakers Only)

Please make sure that you have read and understand the AU Travel Policies and Procedures.

You must submit ORIGINAL ITEMIZED receipts (no copies) of all expenses for which you expect reimbursement.

Please mail the signed and completed Visitor Reimbursement Information Form with all original receipts to the following address:

We will process your payment as soon as your travel expenses are received in our office and we have verified that you have registered, and are fully classified as an Auburn University vendor.  


Step 4: Notes & Lecture Presentations (All Speakers)

Notes for the proceedings CD-ROM and lecture presentations are due approximately one month prior to the conference date (with the exception of larger conferences). Please email your presentations (in Microsoft PowerPoint format) and your notes (Microsoft Word format) to me at woffojl@auburn.edu. When submitting your notes, please set your document margins to 1" all around and 12pt. type.

Notes or presentations are NOT required for Wet Labs, Master Classes or Expert Lunch sessions but if provided, can be included.

You will receive an email requesting notes/lecture submission approximately one month prior to the conference in most cases. For larger conferences notes/lectures will be requested earlier in the process. Submitting your notes and presentations in a timely manner will ensure:

  1. That your information is included on the Proceedings CD-ROM which is provided to all conference attendees.
  2. That your presentation is pre-loaded on the computer in your respective lecture room prior to your lecture time.
