The Monmouth County SPCA, a prestigious and progressive animal welfare organization in beautiful Monmouth County, NJ, is seeking a shelter veterinarian to join our current veterinary staff. We are a non-profit, open-admission facility that proudly adopts nearly 4,000 animals each year to loving families. And has a 95% save rate. Additionally, our veterinary medical staff is integral in treating injured wildlife and assisting our law enforcement team in providing care for animals subjected to cruelty and neglect.
We are a forward-thinking organization with modern equipment, including digital radiology and a complete in-house Idexx laboratory. The candidate will work with the medical director in providing the highest-quality care possible to shelter pets in conjunction with a team of highly skilled technicians and assistants.

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree
- 3 years of experience and/or internship training
- Eligible for or Current New Jersey veterinary licensure
- Comfortable with basic husbandry of companion animals, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and wildlife
