Open House

Activities

Open House is a student-organized event to share information about careers in veterinary medicine and activities at Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine. The event is free and open to the public. For information, call (334) 844-2685.

A variety of fun and educational activities are offered for all ages. 

Admission and Career Discussion

Kids Activities

  • Paleontology Dig - discover and identify buried bones
  • Teddy Bear Surgery - Does your favorite stuffed animal need repair? Bring it and help veterinary students as they practice their surgical skills.
  • Petting Zoo - make friends with a calf, goat, and other animals
  • Informational Scavenger Hunt - gather information as you visit exhibits around the college
