Business Relations

Auburn University’s Canine Detection Center (CDRI) and Veterinary Sports Medicine Program (VSMP) are robust research, education, and training organizations under the College of Veterinary Medicine. We have extensive experience in partnering with local, state, federal, private, industrial, and foreign clients to improve canine working dog activities and programs.

The College of Veterinary Medicine has an experienced contract and grants department that can assist in all aspects of project procurement including project budget analysis, draft proposals, funding line development, contract oversight and more.  We have extensive experience in collaborations and subcontracts with other institutions or business entities for project efforts.

In addition, Auburn has an Office of Technology Transfer that can assist with all aspects of intellectual property development including copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents. We have the support of the Auburn Research Park, which in turn provides entrepreneurial business opportunities for interested parties to develop and innovate new ideas, foster existing ideas, and provide partnership opportunities. We have the ability and experience to develop and execute any project to advance and support canine and equine working efforts.
