Pfizer Animal Health Veterinary Scolarship

Pfizer Animal Health, in conjunction with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation, is launching a major effort to address the issue of student debt and its impact on the future of the veterinary profession.

Pfizer will provide approximately $600,000 to fund individual student scholarships of $2,500 to eligible 2nd and 3rd year students. In addition to traditional selection criteria (academic excellence and financial need), these scholarships will also focus on the sustainable needs of the profession (diversity and food animal medicine).

Through the Pfizer Animal Health Scholarship Program, Pfizer and AVMF will identify outstanding veterinary students capable of addressing the diversity of our changing world and the health and research needs of our society. All 2nd and 3rd year veterinary students are encouraged to apply.
