Teaching and Research
The faculty of Food Animal Service are committed to training future veterinarians by providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to continue to serve livestock producers and the agricultural community. The same faculty members also continue to investigate livestock health and productivity problems through disease research and collaboration with other investigators of agricultural issues.

The Food Animal Service of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is made up of a dedicated group of specialists in medicine, surgery and reproduction who diagnose and treat diseases of cattle, goats, sheep, pigs and camelids. Whether it is a problem with an individual animal or a herd, the veterinarians and technicians of the Food Animal Service are committed to working with producers and other food animal veterinarians to find solutions.
