I am collecting any old or colloquial sayings that relate to animals.

Examples of such sayings are:

• "grinning like a mule eatin' briars"
• "does a one-legged duck swim in a circle?"
• "does a wild bear pee in the woods?"
• "does a chicken have lips?"
• "slicker than deer guts on a door knob"
• "he's rich, he has so much money he could burn a wet mule"
• "I'll beat you like a rented mule"
