Research Interests: Intestinal Diseases of the Horse

We are currently investigating the use of linseed oil as a laxative in the horse. Linseed oil was once a popular laxative for horses, but currently is seldom used. We are interested in different dosages to produce predictable stool softening, possible toxicity, and degree of fat absorption.
