Veterinary Education Center

“Each year, I help applicants from across the nation compete for the opportunity to become an Auburn Veterinarian and turn their dreams into reality.”
T. O’Bryan Sellars, Ph.D.
Director, DVM Professional Program Admissions

Located between Greene Hall and the Wilford and Kate Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital, the Veterinary Education Center is the central hub for veterinary students on the Auburn Vet Med campus. The state-of-the-art 55,744 gross-square-foot facility was completed in 2014 to specifically meet a critical need for classroom space, student collaboration and study rooms.

The 2-story complex offers dedicated lecture hall space for each class of veterinary students, as well as the Office of Academic Affairs, Overton Auditorium, student lounge and dining facility. Physically connected to the teaching hospital, the VEC offers direct hospital access for fourth-year student clinical rotations.
