Biography

Dr. Diane Delmain is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in the Feline Specialty and a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Auburn University CVM faculty in 2018 after spending most of her career in private feline practice. She served as lead Cat Advocate for the Auburn University Veterinary Clinic to obtain Gold Status Cat Friendly Practice certification. She is an active member of the ABVP and has served on the Exam, Credentials, Symposium and Mentoring/outreach Committees. Dr. Delmain is certified as a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional and as a Fear Free Veterinarian. She is advisor for the AUCVM Cat Club and speaks nationally on feline topics.

Dr. Delmain is a certified Fear Free veterinarian and certified Feline Friendly Veterinarian through the AAFP. She has received Competent Communicator and Advanced Communicator Bronze awards through Toastmasters International. Her areas of interest include feline medicine, dentistry, and clinical communication.
