Summer Enrichment Program
The goal of the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) is to provide college pre-veterinary students with 1 week of veterinary experience in areas such as small animal medicine, large animal medicine, VMCAS preparation, and professional development.
Students will gain hands-on experience within the Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital and the J.T. Vaughn Large Animal Teaching hospital. Students will also work closely with CVM faculty in areas such as anatomy, histology, and parasitology.
Rising sophomore, junior, and senior college students who are Alabama residents and who are preparing for a career in veterinary medicine.

- Students from underrepresented background
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Plans to apply to an accredited DVM program
July 11-15, 2022
Students will make travel arrangements to arrive in Auburn Sunday July 10 and depart from Auburn Saturday July 16th.
Students will be provided with reimbursement for travel arrangements to and from Auburn. Housing and meals will be provided during the duration of the program.
