AUCVM Diagnostic Imaging Club
AUCVM’s Diagnostic Imaging Club helps you learn about different diagnostic imaging modalities through lunch meetings and hands-on labs. You can test your knowledge and perfect your techniques with one-on-one time with our great veterinarians and residents.
Principle Activities, Events, or Programs:
Monthly lunch meetings on various imaging topics and a live animal ultrasound lab each semester
Presentations on the CT, MRI, and Linear Accelerator machines during Open House
How this group’s activities benefit the profession, university, and community:
The Diagnostic Imaging Club is open to all AUCVM students who wish to learn more information concerning X-Rays, CTs, MRIs, and Ultrasound. The live animal ultrasound lab allows us to ultrasound our own dogs to practice our diagnostic skills. This gives our students more hands-on experience and practice before entering clinical rotations.
