Student Chapter of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry
Group Description:
The Student Chapter of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry at AUCVM is a club that is committed to bringing awareness to the importance of our patients’ oral health in the veterinary field amongst veterinary students.
Principle Activities, Events, or Programs:
Throughout the academic year, we host several meetings on subjects such as feline dentistry, dental radiography, equine dentistry, etc. We also host wet labs for our members including labs on oral exams, probing and charting.
How this group’s activities benefit the profession, university, and community:
Through the lectures and wet labs hosted throughout the year, we aim to advance the knowledge and education among veterinary students before they enter into their clinical year.
