Open House is an annual event each spring, rain or shine, on the College of Veterinary Medicine campus. The event highlights all the college offers our community in areas of veterinary medicine, research, and education. There are many demonstrations and exhibits about animals and highlighting all veterinary medicine has to offer. The event is held on College of Veterinary Medicine campus, located at 1130 Wire Road. No registration is required to attend Open House.

The event includes self-guided tours of the Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital facilities throughout the day. Other exhibits include Southeastern Raptor Center birds of prey, exotic pets, teddy bear surgery, dinosaur egg with embryo, canine parade of breeds and many other events. Open House also includes exhibits outside the J.T. Vaughn Large Animal Teaching Hospital, including the equine and bovine display of breeds, petting zoo and painted horse.
Parking is accessible from Wire Road near Greene Hall and J.T. Vaughn Large Animal Teaching Hospital. Parking is also available across the Wire Road from Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital. Handicap parking is available directly in front of Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital.
