Emily Adesso, DVM, CCRP, CVA

Dr. Emily Adesso is a graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a career in North Carolina as a general practitioner. She returned to Auburn and joined as faculty in late 2017. She became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2018 and serves as referral veterinarian for the Rehabilitation Service while also serving as a general practitioner for the Auburn University Veterinary Clinic.
She recently became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) in December, 2020. Dr. Adesso’s areas of interest include preventative and integrative medicine, osteoarthritis and weight management, as well as dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians (AARV), World Association of TCVM (WATVM), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). She is a certified Fear Free Veterinarian and AAFP Feline Friendly Veterinarian. She holds state licensure in Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina and is a federally accredited veterinarian.
