Dr. Misty Edmondson is a native of Elmore County, Alabama and received a BS in microbiology from Auburn University in 1997 and DVM from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.
She worked in a mixed animal practice for two years before returning to Auburn University for residency training in food animal theriogenology. Dr. Edmondson completed the residency and MS in biomedical sciences from Auburn University in 2006 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists in 2005.
She currently is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Auburn University where her duties include management of clinical hospital cases, didactic teaching, research and outreach.
