Biography
Dr. Susan Elrod received her PharmD in 2008, and her PhD in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences in 2014, both from the University of Georgia, where much of her research was conducted at the College of Veterinary Medicine. She has taught anatomy lab, pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, and other pharmacy topics at the University of Georgia, South University School of Pharmacy, and Arizona State University. She joined Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine as clinical lecturer and pharmacist in February 2019.
Research Interests
Nutraceuticals and functional foods and beverages, client communication, wellness and mental health among medical professionals
