Biography

After completing a year externship at the National University of Colombia’s Large Animal Hospital and graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tolima, Colombia, in 2011, Dr. Huertas worked as assistant researcher for 9 years at the Colombian Corporation of Agricultural Research from Ministry of Agriculture of Colombia. Afterward, he earned his Master’s degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Antioquia, where he worked as an Assistant Professor since 2019.
