Biography
Dr. Laura Lee is originally from California. Prior to veterinary school she earned a BA in Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley and MA in Anthropology from California State University, Fullerton where she studied birthing behavior in gelada monkeys. She subsequently earned her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed residency training in Anatomic Pathology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during which time she gained diverse experience with domestic, exotic, and laboratory animal species. After completing residency training in 2020, she worked as a Comparative Pathologist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Research Animal Resources and Compliance where she provided diagnostic services and experimental consultation to research investigators. Dr. Lee joined the Department of Pathobiology at Auburn University as an Assistant Clinical Professor in 2022 where she is engaged in teaching and diagnostic services.
