Biography

Dr. Kara Maneval received her DVM degree from Auburn University in 2021. She then completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University before returning to Auburn for a Cardiology Specialty Internship followed by a Cardiology Residency. Dr. Maneval completed her Cardiology Residency and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Medicine, Board Certified in Cardiology, in the summer of 2026. Afterwards, she joined the faculty at Auburn as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Cardiology.

Research Interests

interventional cardiology, congenital cardiac disease, cardiac neoplasia, the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system
