Biography

 

Dr. Theresa E. Pancotto graduated from Duke University in 2002. She received a DVM/MS from Tufts’ Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Following graduation, Dr. Pancotto completed a one-year rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland, Florida. She then completed a three-year neurology/neurosurgery residency and her second masters degree at Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. Dr. Pancotto completed the ACVIM Neurosurgical Course in 2011 and further earned her canine rehabilitation certification (CCRP) in 2013. She is in the process of completing certification in acupuncture. Dr. Pancotto is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences. She is an avid reader, enjoys running and has completed an Ironman triathlon.
