Website Fayetteville Animal Clinic
We are a mixed animal practice located in the heart of Lincoln County. We provide health care service to a wide range of animals large and small!
Fayetteville Animal Clinic is a mixed animal practice in a small southern middle Tennessee town. We serve clients within a 50+ mile radius which includes many who live within Lincoln County and work in the Huntsville, AL area in jobs in the aerospace industry and other high tech areas. We have been established for more than 60 years. Our practice consists of three full time small animal veterinarians and 4 large animal veterinarians. The practice gross income is split nearly 50/50 between large and small animal practice. We are a full service practice offering small animal medical and surgical services. We provide after-hours emergency services for our clients. The three small animal doctors divide the emergency call equally on a rotating basis. Our office hours are 7:30-5:30 Mon-Fri and 7:30-2:00 pm on Saturdays.
We have an extensive laboratory with IDEXX VetLab Station, Catalyst Chemistry analyzer, Digital (CR) X-Ray processor, Ultrasound machine and endoscope. We do mostly routine surgeries, but any veterinarian with an interest in surgery will find that many interesting surgical opportunities are available from bone pinning leg fractures, wiring jaw fractures, tumor removals, ceasarian sections and bladder stone removal just to name a few. Our practice focuses on preventive health care, including vaccinations, heartworm prevention, routine dentistry, spays and neuters. Client education and building relationships with clients is very important.
We have a dedicated and competent support staff. We have one full time licensed technician, 3 full time veterinary assistants, and 3 part time assistants. Three full time assistants are employed in large animal. Four receptionists, including our office manager, staff the front desk. We also have a full time book keeper.
Our community is a friendly, progressive community with excellent schools and medical services. We have churches of many different denominations within the county. We have many active local service groups and a talented community theater group. All these groups are open to any community member who would be interested in participating. There are abundant hunting, fishing and other water sports opportunities in our county and surrounding counties as well as excellent trail riding terrain and horsemen’s organizations for just about any recreational interests. We are close enough to Huntsville, Alabama and Nashville, Tennessee for shopping, dining and entertainment experiences. Because of our small town/rural location, cost of living is less than an urban area and home ownership is much easier for a recent graduate. We would love to add to our staff a conscientious, energetic veterinarian committed to quality, state-of-the-art care who wants to make a home in a small town community.
