Microsoft teams is a collaboration app that allows all of your chats, meetings, files and even productivity information all in one platform.
Getting started:
Join
If you are not able to search for and join CVM Communications in Microsoft Teams, you can use one of the following methods:
Joining on Desktop or Laptop
- Login after following the link below:

OR
2. Login to Microsoft Teams with your Auburn University user id and password by either accessing the website at teams.microsoft.com or through the downloaded software

- Go to the Teams icon on the left.
- Click join or create a team.
- In the ‘Join a team with a code’ section, enter code jj5tgv0
After joining, the main CVM Communications channel will automatically appear in your Teams section. - To ensure you receive notifications from the team:
- Hover over the channel box or click on the channel name, then click the 3 dots on the top right of the box and click ‘Cannel Notifications’
- Update notifications to reflect the following and click save: Change both drop box menus to ‘Banner and Feed’, check box for ‘Include All Replies’
Joining on Personal Phones

- Download Microsoft Teams from Apple Store or Google Play
- Sign in with your auburn email and network password
- Choose the people icon with a + sign
- Choose join a team with a code and enter code jj5tgv0
- Click the 3 lines in the top left corner
- Choose notifications
- Select all except trending and suggested
Joining on Hospital-issued Phones

- Go to the self service app
- Select Microsoft Teams
- Sign in with your Auburn user ID and password
- Choose the people icon with a + sign
- Choose join a team with a code
- Enter code jj5tgv0
- Click the 3 lines in the top left corner
- Choose notifications
- Select all except trending and suggested
Communication Tips

- Start a conversation by selecting your channel and choosing new post.
- You can reply to an existing conversation by clicking reply.
- You can use the @ symbol to mention a certain person or even another channel.
- You do not have to jump around to various channels. Stay within your channel and use the @ symbol to communicate with specific people or other channels. Examples: @Jaynehart I love the most recent Facebook post | @Happenings Can we post something about the party on Friday?
