Andrew Parks
MA, Vet MB, MRCVS, Dip ACVS
Dr. Parks received his veterinary degree from the University of Cambridge and interned in large animal medicine at the University of Liverpool before completing his residency at Michigan State University. A diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, he is currently the Britt-Hoffman Professor of Large Animal Surgery and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. His clinical interests include lameness and abdominal surgery in cattle and horses. His particular interest is in the horse’s foot and, more specifically, the relationship between the structure and function of the foot and how it relates to disease and shoeing.
